I would like to write a little bit about different lifestyles, or diets, that I have a huge belief in. I believe that we should not be eating animals. They are our friends that we are sharing this planet with. And we should treasure them as such. I think it is okay for us to have some sort of work for them, like.. how we drink cows milk, I think it is fine that we are recieveing cows milk, and in return we take care of the cows. But I dont think we should eat them. Its the same with the chickens, recieveing the eggs from the chickens, and taking care of them in return. Letting them live their lives. Being our pets, friends, family. We could all be one big happy family, here on Earth. Sharing what we have with each other as we also share our planet.
Vegetarianism
Vegetarians eat what comes from Animals, not the Animal itself. Like eggs, milk and diary products. Otherwise its plant based. Something to think about with being a vegetarian is that many foods that might not seem like it at first, can contain animal sourced ingredients. But as a prior vegetarian(now a mix of vegetarian and fruitarian, will write about it at the end of this post) I used to do research on the food codes and read the label that contains the ingredients to make sure that the food that I was buying was actually vegetarian. So now I have mentioned it, for those that this was needed information for.
Something to think about with vegetarianism, is that it allows for keeping our Animal friends here on Earth. If everyone became vegans, and there were no need for Animals like we have had use for, what would happen to the Animals? Would we just set them free? Because the Animals we have had as a food source, would not manage in the wilderness like they would have if they were free allways, right now. And if we all became vegans, would we let the Animals that we have kept, just die out? That is sad to me in fact. Because, they have been here with us, for the longest of time, as our food supplie. And if we grow like this, as a specie, should we just discard of them completely? That is not right, to me at least. There is one more thing, but I will mention it later, in the Lab grown section of the post.
Veganism
Vegans eat only plant based, and not Animals, or what comes from Animals. Purely plant based. I believe it is high freequenzie foods. And that it is a lifestyle meant for many, but not for all. Many might not handle it, because of gut issues or other things that makes a purely plant based diet difficult for them. But I do believe that it is meant for many. There is also this theory, that being a vegan, will make it less likely, to get cancer.
I googled it, and it said:
As compared to non-vegetarians, vegetarians have modestly lower risk of cancer, but particularly gastro-intestinal cancers. However death rates from cancer are not lower among vegetarians. Vegans (strict vegetarians) appear to have lower risk of cancers of female organs and also prostate cancer.
Fruitarians
Fruitarians eat only plant based, but also, only what comes from plants. Preserving the plant, that is growing their fruits. So what they eat, is mainly fruits, nuts, but some might also eat seeds. Because they see it as part of the fruit. This I believe is also high freequenzie foods. But it is very difficult to get all of the nutritional value the body needs on this diet. So I would not recommend being on this diet, unless You feel very strongly about it. Even then its hard to be on that perticulair diet.
What I have chosen for myself
So, I have been a vegetarian for quite some time now. I have also been a vegan, seriously considered fruitarianism and now want to live in a way where I honour Life in the way that I feel like it should. Live and let Live. So I have decided to eat what comes from living animals and plants. Unless its medicinal, it will have to come from Life. So basically I am a fruitarian, which also eats eggs and diary products. But also what is medicinal. Like Mushrooms, Blue Lotus, Healing Herbs and such. Because when it is Healing like that, it feels to me like that is the plants purpose here on Earth. So I see it as medicine. Which is good. I was basically a vegan a while ago. But what I noticed, was that I got stronger in my body, now, when I make sure to get enough protein into my body. I also want to say, that seasonal foods, like potatoes, carrots, wheats and that stuff. I think is okay. Because they grow with their purpose. This feels right to me, but it might not be right to everyone.
Growing meat from Animals
I dont know how everyone feels about this topic. But I want to mention it, just because it seems to be something that might change our world. There is actually meat, being grown. We dont need to kill them, they can actually live happily for the rest of their lives. What is needed from the Animal, is their cells. These cells might come from the muscle tissue or the stem cells of the animal. Which means that it does in fact impact the Animal in a way. But the sample of the muscle tissue does not need to be big, one gram is enough, for a potential very big amount of meat produced. And I do want to add that it is better for the Animal, to have a small sample of their muscle tissue, and have a small wound that needs to Heal after, than being killed. The cell sample from their stem cells, neither need to be big, its just a small sample. And the Animal does not need to be killed. I do think that its better for the Animal, to have a small wound after having their sample taken, and to be able to live their lives after, than to be killed. Thats my opinion though. I dont eat Animals, but my family does, and I would be more than okay with them eating that meat. The lab grown, that are in fact, not killing the Animal, and also takes care of the Animal after. Or source their samples from a place where the Animals are in fact taken care of, and where they can live the rest of their lives alive and well.
I do want to add that this should not be abused. Like for instance, severing Animals and keeping them alive and thinking that this is okay. Also, for instance taking huge samples, to grow more and more and more. The Animals should be treated with Respect, Dignity and with us being Kindhearted to them.
Here are some informational sites, that You can find information about lab grown meat:
